Congrats to all of the 2010 graduates, be it kindergarten, middle school, high school, college or grad school!  Graduation is such an exciting time of life; a chapter of life is coming to an end, and a new journey lies ahead.  I am currently experiencing this with my son, Timothy.

We are SO proud to announce the graduation of Timothy from Ensworth High School.  As a mom, I am so proud of him and how much he has grown up.  It feels like only yesterday that he was toddling around the salon as I worked on clients.  Now he occasionally stops by to say hi on his way to who knows where.  I will miss him at home- talking and laughing and sharing life daily, but I know that he is ready to move onto the next phase of life - college at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga. (And, Timothy, I know you will make sure to call your mama and come home often!)

What a fun time of life, isn't it?  Figuring out who you are and what life holds is so full of energy.  In addition to life plans, a lot of people look to get a new "image" for the new chapter of life.  We often see a lot of graduates ready for a more modern or grown up look...or just simply for a change.  As long as it is not impulsive, we love these people!  To get to assist them on the new path with a new outlook is one of the best parts of our job.

Now, moms, dads and siblings:  you are not left out here.  A lot of times, those "peripheral" people also need a change to go with this new chapter - just because you did not graduate doesn't mean your life isn't going to change as well.  It is important for you to take care of yourself too, and that could mean revamping your look a little or a lot.  What better time than a new beginning like this, right?
