Melinda has worked at Bishop’s for a total of nine years and says that out of all the other salons in Nashville where she has worked, Bishops is the best. She loves being a hair stylist because it allows her to create new looks for her clients, and she enjoys helping people feel good about their looks. She relishes the conversational aspect of working in a salon and loves the opportunity to relate to her clients. In the future, she hopes to further advance her education and her customer service skills. Melinda is highly trained in cutting, color, perms, updo’s, and makeup, and she is a talented stylist. When teaching people how to style their hair she often tells her clients to “only use a round brush when the hair is 90% dry, and allow the hair to cool on the brush before releasing it.”
